Session 3: The Birth Process - What Really Happens

Understand the stages of labor, signs to watch for, and when to head to the hospital, plus what paperwork and procedures to expect upon arrival.

Session 4: Pain Management in U.S. Hospitals

Explore all options available in American hospitals, from natural comfort techniques to epidurals and other medical pain relief, so you can make informed choices.

Session 5: Your Rights & Communication in American Hospitals

Learn your legal rights as a patient, how to communicate effectively with American medical staff, understand hospital hierarchies, and practice advocating for preferences.

Session 6: Postpartum in America - Systems, Support & Baby Care

Prepare for hospital discharge processes, understanding American postpartum care, navigating pediatric care, and essential newborn care basics.

Hi, I'm Taís! As a certified doula serving Seattle families, I've supported countless parents through their birth journeys. I'm passionate about making sure every family feels prepared and empowered, especially those who prefer to learn in Portuguese.

Having a doula is like having a wise mom, a baby book, and a personal concierge all rolled into one. Through these classes, I'll share that same supportive guidance to help you feel confident about your upcoming birth.
