“Tais provided post-partum night care for our newborn this summer. She provided excellent care and was great to work with. We really appreciated her attention to detail and the way she shared takeaways from the night with us. Due to complications our son had a feeding tube for part of the time that Tais helped to care for him. We really appreciated the way Tais learned about how to manage the tube, and helped him get the feeding he needed even though it wasn't through bottles or breastfeeding. Thanks to Tais we were able to get the sleep we needed to be there for our older kids while still making sure our youngest was safe and healthy.”
“Tais is incredible! Her approach to care is patient-centered and thoughtful. She has a wealth of knowledge that she shared to make my pre-labor, labor, and delivery as smooth as possible. Her techniques are based in research and experience. And her approach truly enabled me to have the best possible birth. She also graciously supported my husband giving him tips and tools to support me during labor. Tais is wonderful; I wholeheartedly valued having her as part of my birth experience”.
“Tais is very caring not just to our newborn but also to us as a family. We're very fortunate to have her help with postpartum care, both nights and days. She has a very warm personality and I can't imagine going through such an intense time without her by our side.”
“Tais helped as our doula for the birth of our firstborn and was extremely helpful in preparing us not just for the day of birth but for what followed. We chose her following our interviews since she spent especially long getting to know us and our situation and going over several books and other details and didn't try to just send us a contract after some brief talking. This was pretty representative of her work ethic and demeanor, as each visit she spent hours going over plenty of details and exercises and relayed plenty of information that we had no idea we needed to know. I felt incredibly prepared after several sessions leading up to birth, and she kept a line of communication open outside of these meetings. The day of birth went smoothly with her at our side, and I felt way more comfortable with her there. After we brought our son home, she visited a few more times to help with feeding positions, sleeping tips, giving the first bath, and overall helped us greatly in not just bringing our son safely into the world but helping ensure we kept him safe and happy until we had things pretty well figured out. Would 100% recommend Tais if you need a friendly and helpful face during one of the most complicated times for a husband and wife!”
How Can I Help You?
In the past, we lived in communities where friends and family cared for those in labor and their families afterward. With the changes in our world and communities, we are now called to take on the role of guide, supporter, educator, and friend to so many families.
